Jackie Busterna

Jacqueline Busterna is a graduate of both Southgate College in London and the University of North London, where she obtained her Law degree with honors, (LLB). In 1996 she graduated from the Dickinson School of Law, Carlisle PA; with a Masters in Comparative Law, (LLM).  In 1997 Jacqueline was admitted to the New York Bar and is currently an attorney in good standing.

Following Law School, Jacqueline worked at the Office of International Business Development for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where she served under then Governor Tom Ridge as a Trade Specialist. In this position, she traveled on governor-led trade missions that focused on assisting Pennsylvania businesses with exporting.

Currently she works with Coverys, a professional liability insurance carrier, handling medical malpractice claims filed against healthcare providers. Prior to joining Coverys in 2009, she worked at Medical Protective as a File Manager.  Jacqueline commenced her career within the medical malpractice field as an Attorney Examiner at Pennsylvania’s Medical Care Availability and Reduction of Error Fund, (MCARE, formerly referred to as the CAT Fund). Subsequently, she worked as a Litigation Specialist for Nationwide Mutual Insurance.

Jackie lives in Downingtown with her two sons.
